This weekend, the World Cup in cross-country skiing is back after the Tour de Ski break. But then Linn Svahn will not be participating.
The 25-year-old has withdrawn from the competitions in the French ski resort.
Not even next weekend, when the World Cup continues in the Swiss Engadin, will Svahn be participating.
"Linn Svahn has, together with the coaching team, decided to opt out of the World Cup in Les Rousses and Engadin, as she is not fully recovered after the tour," the national cross-country team writes in a press release.
Svahn was selected for both the sprint and mass start, but has since chosen to withdraw.
Moa Hansson replaces her in the sprint, and Evelina Crüsell in the mass start.
