Linn Svahn, Ebba Andersson, Frida Karlsson and Jonna Sundling are the quartet that will run the women's Olympic relay on Saturday.

Moa Ilar, who is second in the overall World Cup, has thus been beaten.

She has been in the mix right until the end. We think Linn has found tremendous form here leading into the championships, so she drew the longest straw this time, said national team coach Stefan Thomson at a press conference.

The Olympics in Milano-Cortina have so far been a great success for the Swedish women's cross-country skiers, who have won seven of nine medals.

Frida Karlsson has won two gold medals, in the skiathlon and in the 10-kilometer freestyle. Ebba Andersson took silver in both distances.

In the classic sprint, Linn Svahn took gold and Jonna Sundling took silver.

The relay race is run over 4x7.5 kilometers in Val di Fiemme.
