Linn Svahn back in the World Cup – competing in Falun

Linn Svahn has not competed since Tour de Ski. First due to "high load", and then she fell ill before the National Championships. Now, however, the sprint star is back. Ahead of this weekend's World Cup competitions in Falun, the 25-year-old is back in the team.

When the World Cup comes to Sweden and Falun this weekend, several Swedish stars will be participating. Among them is Linn Svahn, who has not competed since the Tour de Ski ended in early January.

Now, she, along with others such as Maja Dahlqvist and Moa Ilar, is back.

"We have many World Championship skiers with us as a preparation for Trondheim. It will be very exciting to see Maja Dahlqvist chasing new successes after her World Cup victory in Cogne. It's also fun that Ebba Andersson, Linn Svahn, and Moa Ilar are back on the World Cup after a break with World Championship preparations", says national team manager Anders Byström in a press release.

Some who, on the other hand, will not be participating are William Poromaa, Frida Karlsson, Jonna Sundling, and Emma Ribom. The quartet instead chooses to prepare for the World Championship in Trondheim, which begins on February 26, in Italy at high altitude, writes Expressen.
