The losing streak continues for Linköping in SHL. On Saturday, the team suffered their fifth loss in the first six matches when Malmö won 5–2. It's not fun at all, says Linköping coach Mikael Håkansson in TV4.

Linköping has started the season unevenly. After four straight losses, the team took an important win against Rögle on Thursday.

But on Saturday, Linköping was back on the losing track when Malmö won 5–2.

I am surprised after we made such a good performance in Ängelholm (against Rögle), says Mikael Håkansson.

Malmö got a flying start and took the lead 2–0. Linköping came back and equalized. But when Linus Öberg responded by making it 3–2, which was his third goal this evening, Linköping fell behind. Malmö's Thomas Berg Paulsen then made it 4-2.

In the final period, Linköping forced their way to catch up again, but did not succeed.

Thus, Linköping remains in the bottom swamp and has a lot left to work on.

In Stockholm, Djurgården took their second straight win after the big win against Frölunda. Now the Stockholm team beat Timrå 4–2.

Jacob Josefson and Anton Frondell made the important first and fourth goals for Djurgården.

Brynäs in a slump

Top team Brynäs is also in a slump. On Saturday, they suffered their second loss when Rögle won 4–3.

We fought better now compared to last time, but we need to work on becoming a bit sharper upfront, says Brynäs player Jakob Silfverberg to TV4.
