From November 30 to December 6, the glass cage will be on Stora Torget in the Östergötland city for the second time - the last time was in 2015.

"Linköping has always shown great commitment to Musikhjälpen, and we know that there is an active student life - not least the 'Campus Rattles' initiative has done a lot," says SVT's project manager Karl-Johan Paulsson in a press release.

"Musikhjälpen" will, as usual, take over the entire Swedish Radio P3 for a week and will also be broadcast live on SVT Play. Large parts of the broadcasts will also be shown on SVT2 and SVT24.

This year's theme will be announced in October and the presenters and reporters in November.

Last year's theme, "All children's right to education," raised a record sum of SEK 74.6 million.
