For the second time in four days, Linköping defeated Djurgården in SDHL – without conceding a single goal.
After winning 1–0 on penalties on Thursday in Stockholm, Linköping won 3–0 at home.
The home team's first line scored all three goals.
Former Djurgården player Lova Blom initiated the scoring in the second period, and then the home team scored two goals within 61 seconds in the third period through Haruka Toko and Sara Hjalmarsson.
Hjalmarsson was involved in all three goals and was also credited with two assists.
Linköping took their second three-pointer and climbed to fourth place in the table with eight points, two fewer than league leader Modo.
Djurgården has had a nightmare start to the season and is stuck at the bottom with only one point. The team has also only managed to score three goals in their first four matches.
