The club wrote on its website on Sunday that it had “chosen to end its collaboration” with Zackrisson.
“Our results have not been good enough, and we have not made the progress we need in our offensive game,” Linköping sporting director Broc Little said in a statement.
“We believe that a change is necessary to give the team the best opportunity to improve. Responsibility for our performance is shared, but this is the decision we believe is right for the team going forward.”
The club said it would provide more information about changes to the coaching staff on Monday.
Linköping has lost its last three matches and is second in the table.
