"We have mutually agreed with Mikael Håkanson to go our separate ways," Broc Little, the men's team sports director, told the club's website.
Magnus Johansson has chosen to leave his role as assistant coach. In connection with the announcement, Linköping announced that Anders “Ante” Karlsson is returning. Karlsson joined the Östergötland team last season and was instrumental in saving the team's SHL status.
He has previously been head coach of, among others, Timrå, and most recently came from Tappara in Finland, where he was assistant coach to Rickard Grönborg, who later became Tre Kronor head coach.
