"We have mutually agreed with Mikael Håkanson to go our separate ways," Broc Little, the men's team sports director, says on the club's website.
Magnus Johansson has chosen to leave his role as assistant coach. In connection with the announcement, Linköping said that Anders "Ante" Karlsson is returning. Karlsson joined the Östergötland team last season and was instrumental in saving the club's SHL status.
He has previously been head coach for, among others, Timrå, and most recently comes from Tappara in Finland, where he was assistant coach to Rikard Grönborg, who later became Tre Kronor's head coach.
