At just over 41 years old and just over a week after her crash, Olympic star Lindsey Vonn is chasing another gold medal. However, Friday's training run was a long way from top-tier times.

Vonn took to the downhill slope in Cortina, where she has won several times in the Alpine World Cup, starting with bib number ten. She finished the first training session with the eleventh-best time, 1.39 seconds behind her U.S. teammate Jacqueline Wiles.

Afterwards, the American briefly answered "yes" when reporters asked if everything had gone well.

Vonn's Olympic dreams seemed to be completely shattered after the crash in Crans-Montana. Afterwards, it was determined that Vonn had torn one of her cruciate ligaments and that she had suffered a meniscus injury. Now Vonn and the other skiers have one more training opportunity before this weekend's competition.
