After a week in the hospital and four surgeries, alpine ski star Lindsey Vonn is back home in the United States. Vonn, who crashed in the Olympic downhill race, wrote in a social media post that it "feels amazing" to be home, even though she can't yet stand on her own two feet after the surgeries.
The 41-year-old, who suffered a fractured tibia in the crash, has previously announced that further surgeries will be required in the United States as part of her rehabilitation.
The American competed in the Winter Olympics even though she had crashed in a competition in Switzerland shortly before the start of the Games and injured her left knee.
