25-year-old Lindblad, world number one among amateurs before turning professional in 2024, has finished last and second to last in her last two competitions on the LPGA Tour.
There is no light in sight in this week's competition in Arizona. With 18 holes played, Lindblad shares 139th place out of 144 players - after 76 strokes (four over par) in the easy-to-play first round.
Lindblad opened up earlier in March about her feelings on the golf course.
"Doubting myself with every shot is exhausting. Not knowing where the ball will fly fills me with panic," she wrote on Instagram.
Frida Kinhult has had the best start among the seven Swedes in Arizona. She made eight birdies and is tied for fourth place. Kinhult is four strokes behind former world number one Lydia Ko of New Zealand, who shot 60.
