The 25-year-old, who caused a major upset when she won the LPGA tournament in Los Angeles last week, went around in under par with three bogeys, two birdies, and an eagle on hole eight.

After a tough start to the tournament, Lindblad has climbed 32 places and is now tied for 46th place.

She shares this placing, among others, with Maja Stark, who went around in one stroke over par in the second round. Further down the leaderboard are Anna Nordqvist, Pernilla Lindberg, and Frida Kinhult at +2 overall. Madelene Sagström and Linn Grant seem to be missing the cut, with a total of +3. Linnea Ström finished at +6 and has completed her tournament.

All Swedish players had finished when the tournament was interrupted due to darkness.

Chinese player Yan Liu is leading at -7.

Correction: In an earlier version, it was stated that this is her first major as a pro, which is incorrect. This has now been corrected.
