Frölunda led 3–1 with less than ten minutes left, but Jonathan Johnsson reduced the deficit and Lindberg equalized. Then only 1:09 of the match remained at Scandinavium.
At 1:26 of overtime, Lindberg was the winning scorer with his 27th goal and 51st point of the season. He had earlier completed a long backcheck into his own zone before turning and receiving a free pass.
I had some gunpowder left in my legs; I just tried to push on it and managed to coax it in, Lindberg tells TV4 Play.
Frölunda retains the league lead, eight points ahead of Skellefteå.
