Her “West End Girl” is an autobiographical coming-of-age story about a man she discovers has been unfaithful to her. She released the album, her first in seven years, following her public breakup with actor David Harbour.
In an interview, Harbour recently said of the album: “I believe it is every artist’s privilege to use their experiences to create art, and I respect her for doing so.”
In an interview with The Cut, Lily Allen now praises him for the generous comment.
"He's also having a lot of success right now, isn't he? He's been nominated for an Emmy, and that's amazing. We're all running our own race and doing what we're supposed to do. If there's one thing I know about David Harbour, it's that he's an excellent actor."
