Lilla Al-Fadji is the humorous character who has appeared on P3, among others, and is performed by hip-hop artist Felipe Andres Leiva Wenger, better known as "Fille" in Ison & Fille. Throughout the Melodifestival week in Sundsvall, he has faithfully stayed in character - and at the same time won the hearts of the audience.

Afterwards, he looked the most shocked of all when the results were read out.

"In the song I sing, 'We're taking 'Delulu' to Eurovision,' so I already knew what was going on, but I have a short memory because I'm a short man. So I had forgotten that I had thought about it. Then I was reminded again," he explains.

Are you a little psychic?

Yes, a little bit. Everything I think about usually comes to pass.

First in poll

The Melodifestivalklubben audience survey after Friday's rehearsal already indicated that the slightly crazy entry "Delulu" finished in first place.

Lilla Al-Fadji says he's not really surprised.

Everyone else is constantly surprised by my success. So I pretend to be, too. And I kind of wanted to make good TV, so that's why.

In addition to the artist himself, "Delulu" is written by five songwriters: Fredrik Sonefors, Melanie Wehbe, Mikaela Samuelsson from Dolly Style, and Daniel Réhn and Edward af Sillén, who wrote the script together last year and are now making their debut as songwriters.

“We screamed”

Af Sillén describes the tense atmosphere in the greenroom before the first finalist was announced:

"The last thing I thought was, 'No, Sanna will take this, she's unstoppable. And she was magical tonight. We're doing something completely different.' But then they called out Lilla Al-Fadji's name and we just screamed."

Do you think the Swedish people will send him to Eurovision?

I can't comment on that.

But you wrote it in the lyrics.

"It's a comical song lyric. I don't think we thought it would become reality. There are other artists who are there to win; we are there to party for three minutes," says Edward af Sillén.
