In a post on Instagram from the hospital, the "Old town road" rapper says that he suddenly was struck by paralysis in the right half of his face. In the video, it is clear that he has difficulty moving his face, but he seems to be in good spirits anyway.

In another video, he clarifies to fans that he is okay, but that he will "look a bit funny" for a while.
It is not known what caused the facial paralysis, but fans are speculating that it may be Bell's palsy or Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which previously affected, among others, Justin Bieber.
