The American rapper Lil Durk has been arrested in Florida, suspected of contract murder, writes Aftonbladet.
The 32-year-old artist was arrested in Broward County in Florida between Thursday and Friday night and is now in custody. According to information from the website XXL, the rapper – along with five other people – is suspected of having ordered the murder of a 24-year-old man, who was a cousin of rapper Quando Rondo.
The murder is suspected to be a revenge action after Lil Durk's friend King Von was shot dead by one of Quando Rondo's friends at the end of 2022.
Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, is known for songs like "Broadway girls" and has collaborated with Morgan Wallen and Drake.
