Two men convicted of planning a terrorist attack against a Jewish gathering in Manchester, UK, have been sentenced.

Walid Saadaoui, 38, and Amar Hussein, 42, were sentenced to life imprisonment.

The two were exposed by an infiltrator who offered to help with weapons deliveries.

The judge at Preston Crown Court ruled Saadaoui will serve a minimum of 37 years, while Hussein will serve a minimum of 26 years.

In October, two people were killed in a stabbing attack on worshippers at a synagogue in Manchester. The perpetrator was also killed.
