In April 2025, three young people (two teenage boys, 15 and 16, and a 20-year-old man) were shot dead inside a hair salon in Uppsala.

The 21-year-old has denied involvement and now wants to be acquitted of all charges, namely murder, attempted murder and aggravated weapons offenses.

Two hairdressers, who witnessed the murders, are also appealing the verdict and requesting higher damages than the 40,000 kronor that one of them received.
