A man was shot dead with multiple gunshots in Dalaberg in Uddevalla last year. Now four people have been convicted of involvement in the murder, one of whom will receive life imprisonment. The incident is described as an execution in the district court's verdict.

Late in the evening of September 21 last year, the 30-year-old man was lured to a corner of a fire-extinguished soccer field in the center of Dalaberg, believing that a drug deal was going to take place. Instead, eight shots were fired at him, seven of which hit, and he died when ambulance personnel arrived at the scene.

A 22-year-old man is sentenced to life in prison, while an 18-year-old – who was 17 at the time of the crime – is sentenced to eight years and three months in prison. Two more people are convicted of accessory to murder.

Two people are acquitted.
