The man, who was part of a hit squad with two others, set out in northern Stockholm armed with a gun and a list of addresses. The mission was to shoot the first person who opened the door.
It ended with a woman in her 60s being murdered in her home. The victim was a relative of a person with connections to a criminal network.
In the district court, the man was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and attempted murder because he had called another woman's house earlier in the day and she had not answered.
The Court of Appeal now confirms the life sentence.
