One evening in August four years ago, a man in his 30s was shot dead with about ten shots, the last fired into the head at close range.
According to the Södertörn District Court, the murder took place in the context of a gang conflict. Now a 25-year-old man - who fled abroad after the crime but was arrested in Spain last year - has been sentenced to life in prison.
"The act was preceded by a long period of planning and the investigation also shows that the perpetrator waited for the victim to arrive at the scene for several hours," says Councilor Fredrik Nydén in a press release.
At the same time, a woman has been sentenced to eight years in prison for accessory to murder, while a man who was also charged as an accessory has been acquitted.
