A mother who murdered her two children and put them in suitcases has been sentenced to life in prison in New Zealand.
The children were six and eight years old when their mother killed them in 2018. They were only found in the suitcases in 2022, after a family bought the bags at an auction of abandoned items from a storage facility.
The woman left New Zealand for her home country of South Korea after the crimes were committed, but was extradited to New Zealand in 2022 following a request from police.
