The two men walked into the pub in Västerås on Christmas Eve 2023 and opened fire. A man in his 30s, who according to the prosecutor was not the intended target, was seriously injured.
Now, four people are being sentenced for their involvement in the shooting, local media reports.
A 24-year-old man believed to have fired the shots is sentenced to life imprisonment for, among other things, attempted murder, while an 18-year-old man is sentenced to four years of closed youth care for, among other things, attempted murder.
A 21-year-old man is sentenced to one and a half years in prison for gross protection of a criminal and a boy who was 15 years old at the time of the shooting is sentenced to two years of closed youth care for preparation for murder.
Two defendants were fully acquitted by the Västmanland District Court.
