The prosecutor stated during the trial that it was a prolonged execution where the 55-year-old was trampled to death, according to NA.
The two men were, according to the indictment, at a party in Gyttorp in Nora municipality. During the evening, they brutally killed another party participant. The man was kicked, trampled on, and hit with a wooden shoe.
After the murder, the friends burned the man's body and set his car on fire.
The Örebro District Court finds it proven that the friends together and in agreement committed the brutal murder. They are convicted of murder, aggravated vandalism, and grave desecration.
One of them is also convicted of a rape that occurred in December 2022. He will also be deported for life after serving his sentence.
