A man and a woman, both in their 70s, were found dead in their home. The defendant broke into their home overnight and attacked them with a fire extinguisher.
The defendant had no relationship to the victims. No motive for the acts has been revealed, the Court of Appeal writes in a press release.
He has sought acquittal, citing, among other things, that he has no memory of the incident and that he was involuntarily drugged. The Court of Appeal believes that his actions after the crime show that this is not true.
