Sales revenue increased by two percent to almost 19 billion kronor during the broken fiscal year 2024/2025, compared to the previous year.
The profit landed at 46 million kronor. The year before, it was a loss.
"Despite a challenging economic situation and rising raw material prices, Lidl is now turning a profit after years of loss", the food chain writes in a press release.
This year, at least seven new stores are planned and the plan is to continue at the same expansion rate over the next three years. The goal in the slightly longer term is 300 stores in Sweden.
