In mid-August, Lidingöloppet introduced its first planned participation cap, which left 2,300 places for the classic three-mile race. Since then, the places have been filled and the race is now fully booked for the first time since 2014, Lidingöloppet writes in a press release.
In total for the entire weekend, with several different races, the forecast points to around 35,000 participants, more than 10 percent more than in 2025.
The Lidingöloppet race is held on September 25-27.
