A teenage boy who calls himself a "conservative citizen journalist" secretly films the library staff as he asks for book recommendations for a little brother who "likes to walk around in dresses."
Later, he returns with a microphone and visible camera and confronts the staff, who repeatedly ask not to be filmed, about books whose purpose, he claims, is to "indoctrinate children in left-liberal ideals."
"It's like you're being held hostage, demanding answers to policy questions and purchases that you haven't decided on. It's unpleasant," Daniel Forsman tells Magasin K, noting that "the LGBTQ perspective is particularly vulnerable."
