Leo Carlsson scored just before the halfway mark of the second period away to Philadelphia. Home goalie Joseph Woll fumbled the puck behind his goal, allowing Carlsson to easily cut the deficit to 2–1. The goal was the star center’s third of the season.

Anaheim trailed 2–0 and 3–2 during the game but came back to win. At 7:10 of the third period, Carlsson set up Beckett Sennecke beautifully to make it 5–3 on the power play. The 21-year-old now has 13 points in 11 games.

Sennecke’s goal proved to be the winner, after Philadelphia cut the deficit to 5–4 just over a minute later.

The victory was Anaheim’s first since October 10.
