Carlsson was already involved in the first goal of the match with an assist to Troy Terry in the fifth minute.
The guests quickly equalized through Swede Lucas Raymond, but before the period was over, Leo Carlsson ensured that Anaheim regained the lead with a wrist shot from the left.
Carlsson wasn't done there, though. Before the referee blew the final whistle, the 20-year-old scored two more goals for Anaheim, the team's fourth win in five games.
The Karlstad native, who was selected second overall in the 2023 NHL draft, has had a flying start to his third season in North America with 15 points in 10 games.
"He's been a real wow factor," said Anaheim coach Joel Quenneville after the victory, according to nhl.com.
