Lena Olin returns to the theater stage. This fall, she will play the lead role in Strindberg's classic family drama "The Father" at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. The other lead role is played by Peter Andersson, and the play is directed by Lena Olin's son, FA Campbell.
The role is Olin's first on the theater since 2017.
"Think about it, together with these talented people, whom I'm so fond of, getting to dive deep into the most heart-wrenching. Parenthood, love, passion, and madness. And of course… getting to meet the audience for real! I long for it!", she says in a press release.
"The Father" premieres on October 10.
