Leksand goalkeeper Marcus Gidlöf is not ready to play when the SHL resumes after the international break. Now comes the news that Gidlöf will have to rehabilitate for another 4-6 weeks.

Leksand is fighting in the lower region of the table and now comes some bad news regarding Gidlöf.

The goalkeeper will be out for another four to six weeks.

Gidlöf played his last match on October 23 away against Timrå and has been away since then.

The hope that he would be back after the national team break is now gone.

"We have received results from further testing and he is expected to be in rehab for another 4-6 weeks," says the team's physiotherapist Emilia Backman on the club's website.

Leksand is in eleventh place in the SHL and has a four-point margin to the qualifying round. The team faces last-place Linköping in an important away match in the restart on Thursday.
