Two uneventful periods between Leksand and Luleå at Tegera Arena. Then the game really picked up speed.
The penalty minutes came in thick and fast for both teams in the third period, and Leksand's Oskar Lang also received a match penalty.
The goals also started to come in. First, Luleå tied the score at 1–1 through Linus Omark. The reply came immediately; just seconds later, Leksand took back the lead through American Matt Caito.
Anton Johansson was then able to decide the match with just over three minutes remaining.
Leksand is now five points away from a safe spot in the SHL standings. There are four rounds remaining.
