Rick Derringer was also the frontman of the band The McCoys in the 1960s. The band had a big hit with the classic "Hang on sloopy." During the 2010s, he made three world tours with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, writes NME. He also played the famous guitar solo on "Weird Al" Yankovic's hit "Eat it".
