It was when craftsmen were renovating a newly purchased house in Mölndal that the spectacular find was made - gold and platinum bars that are today worth over 15 million kronor.

However, it was also the beginning of a series of legal battles in which the homebuyers - Carl Déman and Lucas Simonsson from the comedy group JLC - and several other parties have tried to get their hands on the treasure. Among them, a group of pensioners has claimed that the gold comes from an economic crime racket in the 1990s.

Three years after the find, however, the spoils can finally be divided between the JLC duo and the house seller and his siblings.

Carl Déman tells GP that he doesn't really dare to believe that the battle is over.

But it should be clear now. But at the same time it feels like something new is going to come along that will change everything again, he says.
