"There's no getting around the fact that it's basically about resources, so that the nurses in the cardiac ward in Malmö can and want to stay," she continues, referring to the fact that several nurses have left the ward since the turn of the year.
The Left Party is heading into the election with a healthcare package that contains five proposals: an increase in general government grants and sector-specific grants, a women's pay raise, a "no to corporatization" of primary care, a stop to "chaos privatisation" and a shortening of working hours.
"If healthcare doesn't work when you're at your weakest, then Swedish healthcare has to be very strong. That's the most important thing in life," says Dadgostar.
