The Left Party's party secretary has urged the Member of Parliament Lorena Delgado Varas to leave her political assignments, according to information to Ekot.

There is an ongoing internal handling. Unfortunately, I cannot say much more than that. When there is information to provide, we will announce it, says press secretary Maria Carlsson, who does not want to confirm the information, to TT.

The Left Party's Member of Parliament Lorena Delgado Varas, who also sits on the party's board, recently took a break from her assignments. This since the Jewish Central Council reported her for incitement against a ethnic group after she shared an anti-Semitic image on X.

A preliminary investigation was initiated but later dropped.
