V wants to make major changes to health insurance so that more people are covered and people do not fall out of the system.

A key part of the proposal is to allocate more resources to the health insurance contribution and reduce the general payroll contribution. If the entire contribution were abolished, this would amount to SEK 300 billion per year.

It will take several terms of office to implement, says V's deputy party leader Ida Gabrielsson.

The party also wants to increase compensation and the ceiling in health insurance, as well as review the rehabilitation chain and remove the strict time limits that exist today.
