It doesn't really matter what Martin and I think. People know that we don't agree on everything, says Left Party deputy leader Ida Gabrielsson on SVT's Aktuellt.

The voters voted for us four parties - for us, even a little more than for C. We are prepared to compromise and sort things out.

The Center Party's economic policy spokesperson, Martin Ådahl, thinks V should back down from what he calls “ultimatums.”

It is V that demands to be in government and have ministerial posts. You can't demand that, especially when you're on the fringes. We are trying to be constructive, invite discussion and actually move away from this game.

Ådahl also points out that C has always sought a center-right government, something Gabrielsson is skeptical of.

“You can't say that you really wanted an election result or cooperate with parties on the other side that don't want it. They say no,” she says.

Now the Swedish people need a government, and we need each other.
