Left bloc set to become largest in Colombia's parliament, preliminary results show

With almost 95 percent of the votes counted, the left-wing coalition was ahead of the main right-wing opposition, but both are expected to gain additional seats in the upper house.

The presidential election in Colombia will be held on May 31.
