A total of 22 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on various locations in Lebanon on Wednesday, the Lebanese Health Ministry said. Eight of them were reportedly children.
The state news agency NNA reports that Israel has carried out airstrikes on about 40 locations in southern and eastern Lebanon.
Israel's military says it is striking what it describes as "terror infrastructure" belonging to the Iran-backed Shiite militia Hezbollah.
