"A large club with a long history in women's football, where the most recent titles were won in the early 2000s. But recently the team has begun to mobilize for new successes and it is an interesting journey that has begun," he tells the club's website.
"The team performed well last season and I look forward to being part of helping to raise our standards even further."
The 47-year-old has signed for two seasons and replaces Marcelo Fernandez.
