Djurgården's Deniz Hümmet is leaving the Allsvenskan club to play for Japanese Gamba Osaka, writes Djurgården on its website. Hümmet scored 24 goals in 48 competitive matches for Djurgården last season and the transfer has been in progress for a longer time to now be definitively clear.
"We have discussed it for over a month. An exciting adventure in many ways and I landed on it being now or never. But as said, an incredibly tough decision to leave what I have here", he says to the club's website.
According to Aftonbladet, Djurgården will receive approximately 25 million kronor in connection with the deal.
