Hunter Hess angered Donald Trump when the freestyle skier expressed mixed feelings about competing for the United States.
"A real loser," Trump said of Hess on Truth Social.
After the quarterfinals of the women's sprint, American cross-country skier Lauren Jortberg hit back at the president.
"It's terrible to see someone with this power, who rules the United States, saying things like this about an athlete or really anyone," says Jortberg.
Jortberg is concerned about freedom of expression in the country.
"I think many people are afraid," says Jortberg.
