The Latvian basketball player Janis Timma has been found dead outside an apartment building in Moscow, writes Baltic News Network.
Timma, 32, has played 35 matches for the Latvian national team, including in this summer's Olympic Games in Paris. Previously, he belonged to the Spanish club Mondus Obradorio and played for European top clubs such as Olympiakos and Baskonia.
