The Estonian security service ISS reports that “a drone hit the chimney of the Auvere power plant.” Auvere is located outside Narva, near Estonia’s border with Russia.
Earlier Wednesday morning, Latvia’s Ministry of Defense said a drone from Russia entered Latvian airspace.
Warning systems in the municipality of Kraslava registered a sound like an explosion, prompting soldiers, police and border guards to go to the site where wreckage from the crashed drone was found.
The crashes are not believed to have caused any injuries.
