Early deficit. Then Häcken turned it around and won away against bottom-placed Västerås – after a brilliant deciding goal.
Zeidane Inoussa's late piece of skill meant 2–1 to Häcken.
But it started well for Västerås.
As early as the fourth minute, Alexander Warneryd made a fine move and served the ball to Mattéo Ahlinvi, who scored. 1–0 and a real dream start for the home team.
The Västerås luck lasted until the 32nd minute. Ali Youssef cut in from the side and scored an equalizer from distance.
With ten minutes left, it was very close to a leading goal. First, there was a shot from Häcken's Amor Layouni that was deflected just outside. Shortly after, Västerås' Alexander Warneryd tried his luck from distance and hit the post.
Set for a draw? Not quite.
For Häcken would manage to score a deciding goal. The Västerås defense failed to clear a cross, and 22-year-old Zeidane Inoussa kept himself in the game and scored 2–1 with a brilliant piece of skill in the 84th minute.
It felt great and it was fun, says the match hero to Max.
The goal meant three points back to Hisingen.
We're good enough that we won even though we didn't play the best match, says Inoussa.
In Västerås, striker Viktor Granath made his comeback in the club. Last week, it was clear that he would return from Halmstad.
After the loss, he was disappointed.
Right now, it's bloody frustrating. We're creating a lot of chances to win the match, says he to Max.
