"Bajen" had drawn 1-1 in the first leg in Stockholm last week. They also got off to a dream start in Thursday's return match when Paulos Abraham put them 1-0 up after just two minutes.

But in the second half, Anderlecht were clearly the better team. Danylo Sikan equalized and, with ten minutes left in the match, the Belgian club took the lead after Mihajlo Cvetković made it 2-1. Minutes later, Tristan Degreef scored to make it 3-1, which was also the final score.

Anderlecht are thus through to the Europa League qualifiers after a 4-2 aggregate win over two games. Hammarby will play in the Conference League's third qualifying round, where they will face Polish side Raków Częstochowa.
