"The injuries the patients sustained were comprehensive. It has required many reconstructive operations as well as surgical interventions to address skeletal, nerve, and vascular injuries", the region writes in a press release.
As the two last patients leave the hospital, all six patients who were injured in the act have now left the hospital. However, all of them will require care in the future – in some cases for many months to come.
Ten people were murdered in the act at Campus Risbergska on February 4.
